The Brown Group runs GENII (Plasma enchaned gas source MBE) and Riber 2300 (Solid source MBE with As and Sb crackers) housed in the SMIF lab of the Fitzpatrick Center, and performs ex-situ experimentation in an additional 8000ft2 of lab space, which will soon include a custom-built XPS/UPS system.
